In my search for an online university, I found that Webster not only has one of the best academic and affordably priced online degree programs out there, it also provides fantastic benefits to its students.
As an online student, it is important to maximize your time and resources. That is why I have compiled a brief list of additional benefits and discounts that are available to Webster University students. Whether you are taking a traditional on-campus class or an online course, you really benefit by being a Gorlok! Please note that these offers are subject to change at any time.
After graduation, students can still receive specific alumni benefits and discounts.
Students who are enrolled in online courses and live near the St. Louis campus can also enjoy indoor-outdoor amenities and other benefits as on-campus students. A current student ID may be required.

Cohort and Corporate Partnerships
Check with the Office of Corporate Partnerships in order to determine if your place of employment receives a Cohort or Corporate Partnership discount.
Computers and Software
Students can stay updated on technology discounts by logging into their Connections account, selecting the Student Channel (tab), and clicking the “JourneyEd Student Shop” link that is located under Technology Services for Students area.
Webster students enrolled in St. Louis may apply for emergency loans up to $300 per academic year.
Online students can access a plethora of important journals, databases, books, etc. from anywhere in the world for use in their course work. Typically, many of theses resources can require an additional paid membership or subscription for users who are not Webster University students.
- T-Mobile: To receive a discount, students can either shop by phone or at a T-Mobile store. When shopping by phone, students will need to use their @webster.edu email address. When shopping in-store, students should show their student ID or another form of identification that verifies your Webster University enrollment.
Webster offers a variety of programs that can help add value to the lives of students and their families.

Scholarship funds are awarded each year to new students who intend to enroll at Webster University for fall and spring semesters/terms. (Unless otherwise noted, applicants must be enrolled at the Webster Groves campus only).
Student Discounts with Webster University ID
Many businesses offer student discounts with the show of your Webster University ID. In many cases, you will need to show your student ID as proof of your student status. Do a search on Google or other search engine for “businesses that give discounts to students”. It’s just that easy. Now, it really benefits to be a Gorlok!
Many veterans and active duty personnel can qualify for education benefit programs that are provided by the Veteran’s Administration.
Now, it is your turn to share the love. Webster University has several opportunities for students to pay it forward by giving back. Here’s how:
