Meet Debbie McWilliams (’07, ’11), Manager of the Online Admissions Team.
What do you do in your free time?
I’m working on my last class in my MA in Management and Leadership!
How long have you been with Webster?
I joined Webster University 14 years ago and have had the opportunity to work in the Online Learning Center for the last nine years.
What part of your job is the most satisfying?
It is wonderful to be able to help people find ways to reach their educational goals, be it a stay-at-home mom, a freshman directly from high school, a military servicemember, an adult hoping to reach career goals, or someone’s grandfather who always wanted to complete their degree.
Do you have any advice for students ?
Take advantage of the fact that your instructors are professional educators and your classmates will provide rich diversity in location and background.
What’s your favorite part of Webster University?
I love the fact that Webster is both a small mid-western not-for-profit school founded in 1915 as well as a global institution spanning four continents.
