OFFICE 365 FOR ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF

Webster University students are eligible to opt-in for certain Office 365 services prior to the scheduled rollout date of January 9, 2017. All faculty and staff currently have full access. When you opt-in to Office 365, it will include FREE access to Office Pro Plus (Microsoft Office Applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote for up to 15 personal devices), 50 GB of cloud storage with One Drive, an increased level of security, and ease of use with password synchronization and self-service password reset.

To sign up for early access, you must complete the opt-in form located in your Connections account under your My Connections tab. Opt-In services will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive an email notification when your request has been completed along with instructions on establishing your security questions, changing your password, and accessing Office 365 services.

SIGN UP FOR THE RAFFLE: All Students, Faculty, and Staff Eligible

As part of Webster’s global transition to Office 365, the Information Technology team will offer three raffle opportunities. All users will need to complete the simple registration process soon. But those who register by December 7 will have a chance to win one of three high-tech raffle prizes just in time for the holidays. All Office365 registrations must be received by Dec. 7, 2016, in order to be eligible for the raffle. The drawing will take place on Dec. 9, 2016, so that the prize can be received in time for the holidays.

  • 1st 1,500 registrations will have the opportunity to receive a Samsung Gear VR Headset
  • 1st 2,500 registrations will have the opportunity to win an Echo Dot
  • 1st 5,000 registrations will have the opportunity to win the Tile Slim – Phone, Wallet and Item Finder

Why Do This?

All Webster accounts will be converted to Office 365 this academic year as part of a global rollout that will offer more advanced, secure, and comprehensive digital tools for the worldwide community – students, faculty, and staff – to use at Webster, at home, and anywhere on the go.

In order to create this end-user experience and the necessary security around it, each user will need to register their Office 365 account. The result is a powerful menu of new tools that increase individual flexibility, productivity, and strengthen the capacity to collaborate among faculty, students, and staff.
