Please tell us about yourself and your background, current title. My name is Lisa Hempen and I am the Student Success Coordinator in the Academic Resource Center (ARC). I completed both my graduate degree online as a single mom of three! I also was the first in my family to attend college.

What do you do in your free time? My hobbies include horticultural therapy and gardening.

How do you help Webster University Online students? As part of the Academic Resource Center I provide Online students assistance with their academic goals, strategies to achieve success and connect students with campus resources.

What part of your job is the most satisfying? When a student says, “I feel so much better know that I talked to you.”

What’s your favorite part of Webster University? My favorite part of Webster is the sense of community and of course the beautiful campus.
